Here are the numbers looking back from 3/5/2012.

Wow! I have some interesting news to report! In the last 30 days we sold 726 homes compared to only 603 last year this same time. That's a 20% gain in units sold!

In the last 30 days 1015 have been put under contract...last year that number was 842. Also a 20% gain.

30.8% of our active listings are short sales, last year that number was 26.9%

Our average price square foot now is $87, last year at the same time was $96. Almost 10%. 

Homes are selling, it's a great  time to buy, and if you can sell, now is the time to sell. Short sales are definitely impacting prices.
